(HARRISBURG) Union members represented by SEIU Local 668 have ratified three collective bargaining agreements with Service Access & Management Inc. (SAM), covering wages and working conditions for employees at locations in Berks, Lehigh, York, and Adams counties, as well as workers at Long Term Services and Supports, through June 30, 2026.
The three contracts cover more than 200 workers across the state and include base wage raises averaging more than 11% over three years. The collective bargaining agreements also include safety training and improvements to workplace health conditions.
"I am so proud of the solidarity from all of our members across our location working together to win a great contract that reflects the time and dedication we put into our work," stated Brenna Hafer, Early Intervention staff member, SEIU 668 chief shop steward, and 8-year SAM-Berks employee.
“We achieved some of the best wage increases with retroactivity that workers have seen at SAM in years. Our work with individuals with mental health challenges ensures they get the community resources and support they need. As workers, we are proud that we could win a contract that respects the value of our work,” said Cody Grimm, Master Case Manager at SAM-York and SEIU 668 Negotiations team member.
